Neeka Stanley is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). As a social worker, she believes that every client has strengths to bring to the work. She uses a client centered approach, integrating various treatment strategies to best serve the client’s goals. She has been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and EMDR. Neeka hopes each client feels welcome, accepted and supported in meeting their goals for creating healing and joy in their lives.
Neeka has over 15 years of experience in the field. She works with teenagers and adults for individual therapy. She can assist clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, anger, or mood instability. At the client’s request, Neeka integrates spirituality and/or Christianity into the treatment if it is appropriate for that client. She also provides a safe and welcoming environment for the LGBTQ community.
Past professional roles have included outpatient therapy as well as home-based services for children with special needs and their families. Neeka can provide valuable support to parents of children with special needs.
