“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate” — Carl Jung

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist and Forensic Mental Health Evaluator with over 20 years of clinical experience. I obtained a master’s degree in Counseling and Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CGS) in Mental Health counseling from Rhode Island College.

Specialty areas of mine include treating first responders and their families, trauma related issues including adults and children with history of childhood abuse/trauma, impulse control disorders, personality disorders, phobias, relationship problems, mood disorders, psychosexual issues, anxiety related issues, child emotional/behavioral concerns. I offer individual, parent-child, and family psychotherapeutic services and treat children, adults, and teens. My therapeutic orientation is a combination of psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, person-centered, trauma informed, and attachment based.

My approach to treatment is tailored to the unique needs of each individual client. My goal is to take all the pretense and mystery out of the “psychotherapeutic process” and invite the client to be an active participant in their journey to find answers, gain insight, and start to feel better and enjoy life again! This means that I foster a therapeutic environment that allows the client to be in control of their treatment, while offering a secure space where you never have to worry about being judged or rejected.
