Tania is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), as well as a Certified School Social Worker. She completed a BA at Salve Regina University in Psychology in and an MSW from California State University, Long Beach. She has worked in the Social Service field for over twenty-seven years, with many of those years in a residential setting. She has been working in a clinical capacity for the past 13 years and have been a therapist in various settings including residential placements, home based services,and within the community. Recently she has been a therapist with a trauma team working with youth and their families towards stabilization. Tania also worked for several years with Child Protective Services while living in California and is familiar with the complexity of abuse and neglect and maintaining family stability, as well as working within the court system and collaborating effectively with other agencies. She has enjoyed working with adolescents and adults, as well as children and older adults. She has received in depth training in specific mental health issues, such as trauma and anxiety, and has worked with children exposed to Commercial Sex Trafficking. She has specialized training in treatment modalities such as CBT and DBT. Tania comes from a foundation of believing the client is the real expert in their lives, and feels it is a priority that a clinician supports the client goals for treatment and desired areas of change.
