Dan Zariczny is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). He earned his Master’s Degree in Social Work from Rhode Island College in Providence, RI, with a focus on child and adolescent trauma treatment.
Dan has worked in a variety of settings, including outpatient primary and specialty medical care clinics, psychiatric inpatient hospital settings, and community-based agencies and group homes supporting adolescents and adults with histories of trauma, intellectual disabilities, chronic health conditions, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and intellectual disabilities. He works with teenagers and adults for individual therapy; incorporating couple and family work as needed. Dan works with clients who are struggling with addiction/substance use, anxiety/stress, depression, trauma, relationship issues, life transitions, school problems, and LGBTQ+ related adjustment concerns.
Dan partners with each client to create a safe, nonjudgmental, and casual environment in which they may feel heard and empowered to explore and pursue the goals that are important to them. Dan works with each individual to establish a strengths-based therapy approach to meet their specific needs, incorporating methods of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Life Coaching, and Trauma-Focused interventions.
