Co-Parenting Program

We do offer a limited co-parenting program with a few of our therapists at Anchor Counseling Center. Our program focuses on working with each parent to ensure their children’s needs are being prioritized and we will provide tools and strategies to be effective co-parents. The primary goal of co-parenting counseling is not to reconcile the parents as a couple but rather to improve their ability to work together for the best interest of their children. Key areas of co-parenting counseling focus on enhancing communication, conflict resolution, child centered thinking, and coping with changes within the family dynamic.

You and your other co-parent will be scheduled appointments to meet individually with a therapist and then scheduled an appointment to meet together. As part of the program we require a retainer from each party attending to cover any documentation needed in completion of the program. Please reach out to the main office for more information on this program and our current availability.
