Cayla DiSano, LICSW

Cayla (she/her) is a licensed independent clinical social worker who works with individuals of all genders and identities ages 18 and up. She practices therapy from an anti-oppressive, person-centered lens, and emphasizes agency, curiosity, and collaboration while building relationships with her clients.  

Cayla’s clinical specialty areas include anxiety (specifically OCD, Panic Disorder and Generalized Anxiety Disorder), trauma, and navigating personal identity. With extensive experience working with LGBTQIA+ clients in clinical and community-based settings, Cayla prioritizes inclusivity in her work and strives to create an affirming space for clients of all identities and experiences to feel safe and seen.

Cayla is trained in Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT) and incorporates somatic practices, mindfulness techniques, and Health at Every Size principles into her practice. She earned her master’s degree from Rhode Island College with a focus in macro systems change work. When she isn’t in the office, you will most likely find Cayla drinking an iced coffee with her latest book in hand or listening to a new Broadway musical soundtrack. She is so happy you are here!
