Sally began her journey in the human service field at Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) then Rhode Island College School of Social Work. She received her masters degree in social work in 2005. Having interned at both the National Association of Social Work (NASW) and Sstarbirth she has a background in policy analyses, lobbying, and clinical social work.
Sally has worked with children and families since receiving her degree. She has worked with diverse populations in community based setting as an Emergency Outpatient Service (EOS) clinician and as a Home Based Therapeutic Service (HBTS) clinical supervisor.
In working with families she has treated children and adults who experience symptoms of PTSD, depression, anxiety, substance abuse disorders, bi-polar, and codependency Sally also has expreience working with people with intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorders.
Sally’s approach to treatment is built on humanistic theory honoring each individual as a unique person worthy of living a happy, peaceful life. Her passion is working with women in recovery to empower them and encourage self love.
