Tiffany is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the State of Rhode Island. She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Rhode Island College. Tiffany has over 10 years of experience in the mental health field working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. She has provided trauma informed care in a variety of residential and community-based settings.
Because of Tiffany’s work in child-welfare, she has extensive experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma in their lives, as well as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and life transitions. Tiffany utilizes an eclectic approach to address each client’s individual therapeutic needs by providing psycho-education and incorporating evidence based techniques such as: cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), mindfulness, and solution-focused modalities. Tiffany is a strong believer in the mind-body connection to increase awareness of the body’s biological process in order to empower clients to manage their emotions.
Tiffany believes that the foundation to effective therapy is establishing a genuine and positive therapeutic relationship. Tiffany works collaboratively with clients to help them identify and work through their short- and long-term goals.
